Ambassador Revaz Lominadze held a meeting with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Georgia

On April 22, 2026, in Geneva, the Permanent Representative of Georgia to the United Nations Office and other international organizations, Ambassador Revaz Lominadze, held a meeting with the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Georgia, Didier Trebucq.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the priority areas of their productive cooperation between Georgia and the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator, as well as future plans.

Particular attention was given to the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for 2026–2030, which serves as the main foundation of the strategic partnership between Georgia and the United Nations for the next five-year period. It was noted that the document is fully aligned with the country’s national development priorities and aims to ensure the effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The parties expressed hope that, through joint efforts, it will be possible to achieve the key results outlined in the UNSDCF by 2030.

The importance of holding the UN Public Service Forum 2026 in Tbilisi this June was also emphasized.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation.
