Cultural Event Dedicated to the Rights of Persons with Autism at the Initiative of the Permanent Mission of Georgia

At the initiative and under the organization of the Permanent Mission of Georgia in Geneva, a cultural event and exhibition dedicated to the rights of persons with autism was held within the framework of the 62nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council. The exhibition featured works by young artists on the autism spectrum, Kamran Israfilov and Fernando Lozano Méndez.

From May 31 to June 3, 2026, the Secretary-General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), Arguj Kalantharli, paid an official visit to Georgia, where he held meetings with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Gaga Kirkitaidze. The meetings were attended by Georgia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva, Revaz Lominadze. During the meeting with the Prime Minister, discussions focused on global security challenges and the importance of close coordination within international organizations.
