Meeting with Civil Society Orgnizations at the Permanent Misssion of Georgia

21.02.2020 - A meeting with Civil Society Organizations based in Geneva was held at the Permanent Mission of Georgia, prior to the Human Rights Council 43rd Session. 

The Permanent Representative of Georgia, Victor Dolidze discussed the representative of CSOs Georgia' priorities for the 43rd session of the Human Rights Council. He underlined the importance of the resolution "Cooperation with Georgia" and highlighted importance of Georgia's cooperation with the UN Human Rights High Commissioner's Office, as well as existing dire humanitarian situation in the occupied regions of Georgia.

Representatives of SCOs attending the event presented their priorities for the upcoming HRC session and thanked Ambassador Dolidze for organising the meeting, as the first Eastern Eruopean Country to have organised a meeting in such format.
